Gluten Free Products – Pamela’s Products

Pamela’s Products is a company that has provided great tasting gluten free food since 1988. From that time until the present, they have created a lot of healthy foods without wheat or gluten especially made for people with celiac disease or wheat sensitivities.

Pamela's Baking and Pancake MixPamela’s Products, Ultimate Baking and Pancake Mix is one of the favorite products. J. Lee “bookmom” described it as the best gluten free baking mix she has found. And according to her, “My daughter has celiac (a complete inability to eat any wheat, rye, barley, and in her case oatmeal, or any other starches or glutens). Pamela’s baking and pancake mix is a real heaven-sent product. It tastes good! Unlike some other baking mixes I have tried. It is easy to alter “normal” recipes using Pamela’s mix to have great tasting baked products. The bag has good recipes and Pamela’s products website has additional ones. I would recommend this product to anyone, especially those who don’t want to take the time to mix their own grains or want to keep it on hand for when celiac family or friends come to visit and you would like to provide a delicious, easy to make treat.” However, despite the good feedback, one unhappy consumer made a contradicting statement about the gluten free product. “I’ve always enjoyed using Pamela’s baking products for my gluten-intolerant grandchildren. However, I won’t get to try this one because it contains both dairy and tree nuts, which was not revealed in the item description, and to which our kids are also allergic. This is not an item that can be returned, but I donated my three bags to another family with celiac but no other allergies. Amazon should be more careful in listing all the allergens in its “allergy free” products.”, said J. Silva. Also, J. Silva warned the other consumers for other allergens in the product.

Another one is Pamela’s Products, Wheat Free and Gluten Free Amazing Bread Mix. This product is Pamela's Bread Mixsaid to be easy to use, versatile and delicious. And along with being wheat and gluten free, it is also Kosher certified. Flo Smith, one happy customer said that this product is a great GF bread. “I have used the individual bags of Pamela’s Amazing GF Bread mix for some time, but I recently purchased the 3-pack of 4-pound bags. I am very happy to report that the resulting bread is just as consistently wonderful as always. Many of my non-GF friends have tasted this loaf, and they are amazed at how good it is! I use the stand-mixer-and-oven-baking method (rather than a bread machine), as I often make round loaves or rolls from the mix. The bread is delicious, the preparation is easy, and now the cost is much more economical for me. Just so you know (and you can do the math for yourself to see which is the better purchase for your family), there is (almost) enough flour in each bulk bag for 4 loaves, as prepared according to the directions on the back of the bag. Remember that with this product, yeast will be needed to add to the mix, along with eggs, oil, and water. Using milk (rice, cow, soy) for all or part of the water will result in an even more tender and moist loaf. I have two loaves in the oven right now. They smell fantastic!”

Pamela's Cornbread and Muffin MixAnother gluten free product is Pamela’s Products, Cornbread and Muffin Mix which has all natural ingredients. It also has no sugar, no dairy, no GMO, wheat and gluten free and is made from organic oatmeal.  Lucky mom of 5 says that this product is a sure hit and all 7 members of her family (with 2 celiac patients), loved it.

Pamela's Cake Mix
